Some cultures have mothers chewing food and then giving it to their babies. They do it for love.
All current governments control the information you receive. Communist and dictatorial governments (China to say the first) with awful methods. Others with more subtle methods (try to publish unconvenient news, if you can). They all do it. They do it for power.
