As a fact, I have not been able to post in the blog for a while, and this will probably go on till the end of march - mid april.

In the meanwhile, Stopnow100 unleashed the fourth part of the video - which is by now reaching 400K views!

This part has something different, looks like the author still has a lot cards in his deck! First - no more Stravinsky. The theme is now a sound - but edited! - Beethoven.
More over, we get to see the monk's reincarnation as a ninja's newborn childe. Try to watch the sequence when we see the baby's face for the first time, with mr. Ludwig Van's arches playing in the 'ground, and not be moved, if you can. Everytime I do, something from inside my chest erupts right into my eyes...

One of the demons also makes his appearance... Just so that he gets what he deserves.

On the boycott side, we all have seen mr Spielberg's resignation. Maybe I should say we all cheered it. Even though I didn't write a post on it, I made some comment in the blogosphere. There has also been the scandal of the British Athletes being coerced to silence, and the declarations of athletes like Richard Vaughan, a medal contender in badminton, who joined a group who will campaign throughout the Olympics for international action to be taken in the region.

The rolling stone is gathering mass...

Get Aware

Boycott Berling2008 Olympics
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072722133353200479.post-80296776756426196202008-02-11T05:20:00.000-05:002008-02-11T06:04:07.227-05:00Information war (real casualties)An information war has been started by China to promote its own image (and the CCP's as well...), and the Beijing Olympics are the atomic bomb of the chinese army. A war made of propaganda, of disinformation, of censorship.

Many - to say the least - have recognised the hostile campaign and started to counter, playing the same war: a war for information.

Many have started, more and more are joining. It's nothing less than that: a war. With a massive, and very powerful army on the other side.

Whoever recognises it, has to take side.

If you don't know much, you can start by giving a look at these sources:
Unmade in China
A post of mine, on the "Burma in Chains" video
Bloggers Boycott 2008 Olympics
Jana's blog on China and CCP
The Nine Commentaries
"Will the boat sink the water?", a must-read book

... plus, obviously, a lot others; any of the links above is but a starting point.

Imagine yourself a few months before 1936 Berlin Olympics. (second one)The very sparkle this blog owes its own existance to, Stopnow100's "Burma in Chains" video is now three steps away from the start. In other words, we have the Part 3.

Once again, I must say.
Once again, and half a minute shorter...

Part 3 was first released on January 23rd-24th. It was definitely graphical in nature... Even gruesome, one would say. But it hit the point, no doubt: just a few hours later it had more than 10.000 views and a lot of interesting comments, from a lot of people never seen before.

And then, baby, everything went black...

The video has been removed by YouTube. The reason? Here's what Stopnow100 told us:

YouTube has deemed the content of the third video inappropriate. We do not know exactly what the reason is for this, but we are working on a modified version to then propose. Hopefully someone has downloaded it, and will then upload it on some other site. We will let you know.
We do not know exactly what the reason is for this...
I'm pretty sure there are formal justification for YouTube behaviour. YT Terms of Use give those guys pretty much "life or death" power on the videos they publish. But whatever the formal reason, you can find other videos offending the very same rule, which are not removed.

Oh, yes, YT guys would reply that if we flag those video too, they will aso be removed. But why would we?

I could go on for pages. Essence is, "the reason for this" is very simple:
to pay China a favor.

Now, the third part of the video has been edited. These are the words of the author:

unmadeinchina.org hosts the uncut version of this video, as they downloaded it before it was removed.
This is the version which has been edited so that it could be acceptable to YouTube policy
Following is the edited version on YouTube. Judge by yourself the cost of paying China a favor.

Get Aware

Boycott Berling2008 Olympics
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072722133353200479.post-66184798205486077702008-01-24T20:27:00.000-05:002008-01-25T19:41:45.049-05:00Censored!As I said, it was not easy to watch. I was tempted to post this or this. But, in the end, I decided to comment on the following one:

Read the entire article to learn the details. In short the story is:

At 08:50 on 14 March 2002, four Swiss practitioners began a three-day sit-in and hunger strike outside the China Liaison office in Hong Kong, appealing against Chairman Jiang's orders to "kill without pardon" and "shoot [Falun Dafa practitioners] on sight". Soon after, twelve Hong Kong practitioners joined them spontaneously. The gathering was peaceful and legal.
On 15 March, the practitioners were charged with "obstruction of property".
The judge presented a guilty verdict on 15 August.
So, why have I chosen this story for the post? The others two I mentioned were undoubtely stronger: one for its lyric and profound sadness, the other for its beyond-the-limit horror.

So?

Well, here's the answer: have you noticed WHERE it all took place? It was not in China. It was in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong was a crown colony of the United Kingdom from 1842 until the transfer of its sovereignty to the People's Republic
of China in 1997. The Sino-British Joint Declaration and the Basic Law of Hong
Kong stipulate that Hong Kong operates with a high degree of autonomy
until at least 2047, fifty years after the transfer. Under the policy
of "one country, two systems", the Central People's Government is responsible
for the territory's defence and foreign affairs, while Hong Kong maintains its
own legal system, police force, monetary
system, customs policy, immigration policy, and delegates to international
organisations and events. (Wikipedia)

High Degree of autonomy?
one country, two systems??
maintains its own legal system???

For those of you who don't remember it, Hong Kong was a highly liberal country. Such a transformation as that described in this article is horrific. From "highly liberal" to "liberticide" in the space of five years.

This is the kind of things which we must learn to pay attention to.

In February 2003, less than one year later, Hong Kong leaders moved to enact "anti-subversion" legislation that would ban any group banned in "the Mainland" (Yes, that means China).

Get Aware

Boycott Berling2008 Olympics
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072722133353200479.post-24252001400094978342008-01-01T17:42:00.000-05:002008-01-11T07:42:32.292-05:00Happy New Year!
2008...
Maybe, it will be an year of wrong olympic games.
Maybe, it will be an year of glorious achievements.
Or, maybe, it will be an year filled with absurd deaths...

Whatever the case, this is my wish to all of us:
may we all commit ourselves to those objectives we consider the highest ones, and not to those with the highest chance of being achieved
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072722133353200479.post-48517561945524508612007-12-27T20:27:00.000-05:002008-01-11T07:42:32.292-05:00To CarolThanks for your words.

Just remember that... "It's just the way it is"

That's what "getting aware" is, after all: breaking the chains of illusion.

Happy you're back!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072722133353200479.post-16740689662692509982007-12-25T07:12:00.000-05:002008-01-11T07:42:32.293-05:00Merry ChristmasTo the Burmese people,
To the Tibetan people.

To aware people,
to next-to-be-aware people.

To suffering people,
To enduring people.

To people unwillingly causing suffering...
And even to people willingly doing so.
'Cause time will come when they understand the horror they caused,
And time will come for them to pay - in measure with their understanding.

And they will be enduring people,
suffering people,
next-to-be-aware people,
aware people.

And they will be Tibetan people,
And they will be Burmese people.

Merry Christmas, to all the people.

This is my present:
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072722133353200479.post-43569828362573899472007-12-20T18:31:00.000-05:002008-01-11T07:42:32.294-05:00Do you want a girl?Big China imposes citizens to have one child, no more.
And, guess what? Most citizens prefer a male child: they are more useful on the farm. But... how can you make sure you don't have a daughter?

Well, you can't. No, sir, no way. You just try. And if it's a daughter, well then.... you fix the problem, don't you? In China there are a lot of abandoned newborn daughters (usually not living the night) and selective abortions.

So, as a result, in Big China there are some 30 millions more men than women.

So, as a result, wealthy old chinese simply go to desperate neighborhood Burma... Just a few bucks (yuan), and a 10 year old virgin won't see his parents anymore. A "rich" future standing in front of her.

Rich of what, I prefer not to think.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072722133353200479.post-41458467500050188202007-12-18T10:09:00.000-05:002008-01-11T07:42:32.295-05:00Have you asked yourself?
Have you asked yourself what happened in Burma after the last riots?

Have you asked yourself why the media are not talking about it anymore?

Have you asked yourself if it's right for China to host the 2008 Olympic Games?

If you don't know, monks have been hunted throughout all Burma, stunned and burnt (you know, just so that no common grave can later be discovered). The Temples are now full of soldiers with their head shaved, all smiles. People is told that the government forced monk to move from one temple to the other... That's the only reason the temples are full with unknown monks...

If you don't know, China is one of the biggest partner of every other country. And China strongly discourages opposition. And, obviously, is not afraid of menacing. Anyone.

If you don't know: no, it's not right at all that China hosts the 2008 Olympic Games.
